We are now facing an uncertain world. The unprecedented US trade tariffs have rattled the world and created much trade tensions between countries. Global economy is expected to be hit due to the reduction in trade flow which may affect our livelihoods. Conflicts between countries have resulted in wars happening.
Some of us may start to worry and feel anxious as we navigate the uncertainty that is happening. Negative thoughts like “Will my job be secured?” or “Do we need to tighten our purse strings?” may come flooding our minds.
Our Lord reminds us in Matthew 6:26 ESV:
“Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?”
We are reminded that our Lord is indeed our Jehovah Jireh our provider as He has faithfully met our needs without fail.
Let us continue to trust Him and claim upon His promises as we go through this uncertain world.
“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble” (Psalm 46:1)
