Small Group (SG)

“And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.”   Hebrews 10:24-25 ESV

Last month, our SG 2B1 gathered at my house for our annual SG Christmas party. It was a very meaningful and enjoyable session. Not only were we able to celebrate and remember our Lord Jesus Christ’s birth through our singing of carols, we were also able to gather physically together for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic started 3 years ago.

The SG ministry is an important ministry in our church. Through SG, we are able to connect, encourage, support and edify one another through regular meeting sessions and also study God’s Word. SG gives us the avenue to serve as a group in various church activities; and helps us to stay vigilant against our adversary – the devil that prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour (1 Peter 5:8).

If you are still not a member of an SG, may I suggest that you seek to join one this year in order to encourage and be encouraged in your walk with God.
