Be assured that our salvation mission is under God’s commission, empowerment and protection. Fear not demons would strike us relentlessly. Fight them with the almighty Sword of The Spirit — F.E.A.R.S. (ESV Verses for reference.)
F (Fear Not)
Isaiah 41:10 fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
1 Peter 3:13, 14 Now who is there to harm you if you are zealous for what is good? But even if you should suffer for righteousness’ sake, you will be blessed. Have no fear of them, nor be troubled.
E (Equipped, Empowered, Emboldened)
Acts 1:8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.
Joshua 1:9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.
A (Authorised, Ambassador, Anointed)
Matthew 28:18-20 And Jesus came and said to them, All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.
2 Corinthians 5:20 Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.
R (Rely on Jesus)
Deuteronomy 31:6 Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.
Hebrews 13:6 So we can confidently say, “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear; what can man do to me?”
S (Sent, Strengthened, Safeguarded)
John 20:21 Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, even so I am sending you.”
Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through him who strengthens me.
Romans 8:31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
