Thinking of Artificial Intelligence (AI), I asked my 5-year-old granddaughter, “Who is more intelligent, a robot or a human being?”. She answered, “A human being.”. Then I asked her, “Who is more intelligent, God or man?”. She answered, “God!”.
Satan is a very intelligent and powerful creature. He is the prince of this world. Today, many people idolise movie stars and pop stars, some of whom are inspired by Satan. The name Satan means adversary. He is the proud cherub Lucifer who desires to be worshipped.
Jesus came to defeat him. Jesus said to him, it is written, “‘You shall worship the Lord your God and Him only shall you serve.’”.
Since the Fall when mankind denied God’s truth and disobeyed God, mankind keeps falling to Satan’s deceptions.
Two examples of Satan’s deceptions are: 1) There is no God. So I can do what I like. 2) I am a female/male trapped in a male/female body, so I must go for gender affirming surgery.
God is not mocked. Whoever sows will reap. Belief guides behaviour. A thought triggers an act. Remember: “I the LORD never change” (Mal 3:6).
God defeated Satan by the death of Jesus at the cross. Jesus has paid for our sins of disobedience. God saves and will perfect all our imperfections and flaws one day.
Let us not yield to Satan’s deception. Let us repent from our disobedient ways and return to God our Maker. Everyone will have to give an account to Him. We have true peace in an intelligent and loving God. Perfect peace is found in God who created all things beautiful and orderly.
Let us love and worship the unchanging God.
