Men founded thousands of religions and created millions of gods. Each religion has its ultimate goal. Devotees must make lifelong self-efforts to accumulate merits, but nobody is sure of attaining for example, Dao in Taoism, Nirvana in Buddhism, or Moksha in Hinduism. The Creator God’s truth is that everybody lives once, dies and gets judged by Him to go to Heaven or hell.
Christianity is about a personal relationship with our Creator God. It is founded on the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. Everyone who wants eternal life in Heaven will certainly receive it.
Who Jesus Christ is
(a) Creator God. He created the universe and every visible and invisible thing of nature. The most important are human beings. How long can we survive without food, water, or oxygen? We owe our survival to Jesus.
(b) Creator God became the man Jesus Christ on Earth.
(c) Saviour. Everyone sins and offends God’s spiritual and moral laws. Sinners will be punished in hell. However, our loving God wants to rescue sinners from hellish torment.
This is why Jesus sacrificed His life on the cross and paid for humanity’s sins, including yours. He shed His blood for the forgiveness of sins. After He was buried, God resurrected Him on the third day. The moment a person believes in these and trusts Jesus as Saviour and Lord, God will give eternal life to him/her.
(d) Judge of mankind. Jesus will judge all the living and the dead. Those who have trusted Him as Saviour will be in His Kingdom of Heaven. But those who have not will be cast into eternal hellfire. What’s your choice?
