Our gracious Father revealed His plan to us, centuries in advance and down to precious details. Here are some prophecies and their fulfillment. Let us marvel and be blessed.

| “But you, O Bethlehem Ephrathah, who are too little to be among the clans of Judah, from you shall come forth for me one who is to be ruler in Israel, whose coming forth is from of old, from ancient days.” (Micah 5:2) | Joseph and Mary both descended from the clan of Judah and travelled to Bethlehem to register in the Roman Census. “… the time came for the baby to be born, and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son.” (Luke 2) |

| Details of Jesus’s crucifixion foretold: “For dogs encompass me; a company of evildoers encircles me; they have pierced my hands and feet – I can count all my bones – they stare and gloat over me; they divide my garments among them, and for my clothing they cast lots.” (Psalm 22:16-18) | Psalm 22 is estimated to have been written in 1044BC, by King David. | “And when they had crucified him, they divided his garments among them by casting lots … Then two robbers were crucified with him, one on the right and one on the left … those who passed by derided him … the chief priests, with the scribes and elders, mocked him …” (Matthew 27) Jesus invited Thomas to place his “finger in the mark of the nails” which had been hammered into Jesus, saying to him, “… Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.” (John 20) |
