“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” (John 10:10).
Adam’s disobedience brought sin, spiritual death to humanity. In contrast, Christ, the second Adam, fulfilled righteousness and brought men back to God. Everyone who believes in Jesus Christ receives His righteousness and is called to live and spread the Gospel. This will create a positive ripple effect.
Social media influencers hold great sway over human behaviour, desires, and beliefs. Those drawn toward worldliness seek self-centeredness, materialism, and temporal affirmation. Those who use digital media to preach the gospel and to encourage the Church desire to serve Christ.
Governmental and family restrictions, self-control can be helpful. Better still, teach your children and grandchildren to believe God. The reverential fear of God is wisdom. Believe that Jesus Christ is eternal life. Follow Him so you will not be swayed by the world’s flow.
God teaches us to guard our hearts and minds. The indwelling Holy Spirit is our internal Guide and Guardian. Be led by Him to seek first God’s kingdom and righteousness. The world’s kingdoms and all their attractions will pass away.
Flee: sexual immorality, idolatry, love of money, the evil desires of youth. Pursue: God’s kingdom and righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance, gentleness, peace and sanctification. Without holiness no one can see God. Avoid those swayed into worldliness. Associate with those who love God, are poor in spirit, pure in heart, lowly, and morally upright. Practice the presence of God 24/7.
May the God of peace guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
