It is easy to trust God when prayers are answered, doors are opening, and life is going well.
But what about when nothing seems to be happening?
We pray. We wait. We pray again. And sometimes we wonder, “Lord, have You heard me?”
The truth is: God has not forgotten us.
Proverbs 3:5 reminds us: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.”
We see only what is happening today. God sees the whole picture. He knows what we need, why we need it, and exactly when we need it.
That is why waiting on God is never wasted time.
While we are waiting, God is still working. He may be changing our circumstances, preparing someone else, opening the right door, closing the wrong one, or simply preparing our hearts for what is ahead.
Sometimes God says yes. Sometimes He says no. And sometimes He says wait.
We may not always understand His answer, but we can trust the One who gives it.
In the good times, trust Him with gratitude. In the difficult times, trust Him with faith. And in the waiting times, trust Him with patience.
God’s silence does not mean His absence. A delay does not mean He has forgotten us. What seems late according to our timetable may be exactly on time according to His.
So, if you are waiting on God today, don’t give up.
Keep praying. Keep trusting. Keep walking with Him.
God knows what you need. God knows when you need it. And God knows what is best.
His answer is always wiser than ours, and His timing is always better than ours.
We may be waiting on God, but God is never late.
