Why should I share the gospel? Jesus loves you and has freed you from your sins by His blood (Rev 1:5). He suffered and died on the Cross for you and gave you a new life in-Christ.
What is the gospel? The crux of the historic gospel contains the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ and His glorious return (1 Cor 15:4; James 5:8).
What is a prophetic word? It is the faithful proclamation of God’s Word, the gospel of Jesus and His future coming as His mouthpiece. “For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.” (Rev 19:10 ESV)
Why should the person who sits next to me in my office or my classroom need to hear the gospel? His or her soul is worth more than the whole world (Matt 16:26). Christ who made the whole universe also gave an immense worth of the human soul. He values the soul more than the whole world. It is God’s desire and will to save the soul from Hell. Christ has paid with a great price with His precious blood (1 Pet 1:19).
How should I begin? Begin by praying for those around you by name. List the names in your cell phone or personal diary in case you forget. Share with your small group for mutual encouragement.
Pray for some people whom you know who are not believers. Pray until the opportunity arises. You will be surprised when the opportunity comes.
What to share? Memorise John 3:16. Practice by writing on a blank paper using the graphics. Write a key word one word and explain or ask a clarifying question. Every key word in the verse can be used with a chart to illustrate the good news.
“How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!” (Isa 52:7; Rom 10:15)
