The whole human race suffers pain and eventual death from: 1) Moral evils caused by human beings and 2) Natural disasters.
Moral evils like murders, cheating and inappropriate sexual conduct cause suffering in the human race. This can be avoided if there is love among fellow human beings and there is a fear of God.
Landslides, forest fires, floods and epidemic are commonly caused by man’s exploitation. Some disasters can be avoided by responsible stewardship of the earth. The whole earth is suffering from the sinful acts of mankind (Romans 8:21). God will require everyone to give an account to Him on the Day of Judgment.
The Coronavirus epidemic has infected millions of people worldwide. By the mercies of God, only 1% to 2% of those infected by Coronavirus have died.
Adam chose to disobey God. That sin resulted in immediate spiritual death (separation from God) and eventual physical death for all. Everyone will live and die, mostly through sickness or old age. Some even have to live and suffer through wars and natural disasters.
Jesus of Nazareth chose to obey God. Jesus taught us to love God and to love our neighbours as ourselves. With blood, pain and suffering, He wore the crown of thorns and died on the cross for our sins. He conquered death by His resurrection, and He promised eternal life to everyone who believes in Him.
Sin has infected everyone. Coronavirus has a death rate of 1 to 2%, but the death rate for sin is 100%.
God is merciful and is withholding the Day of Judgment so that more will be saved from eternal death. Everyone who believes in the Lord Jesus Christ will be saved from the consequence of this deadly sin disease and will be given eternal life.
To God be the glory for the inexpressible gift of His Son, Jesus Christ!
