Jesus, the Only Way to eternal life
Jesus says, “ I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me ” (John 14:6).
All of us who have believed in Jesus are to keep walking the Way of Jesus. We have been justified by faith: The blood of Jesus cleanses when we confess our sins to Him (1 John 1:8-10).
We are obligated by God’s grace to invite others to choose to believe Jesus and follow Him. The sovereign God respects one’s free will. It only takes one word: “Yes” or “No” to enter by the only Way.
Follow Jesus all the Way
God transforms each of us according to our willingness to be conformed to the image of Christ. Some of us have to endure difficulties, some of us have to overcome temptations, some of us have to suffer afflictions. All of us are to be loyal and faithful to our Lord and Saviour. In whatever we do, let us be like students, soldiers, servants, stewards of Jesus Christ. Behave like sons of the living God.
We must encourage those who are lost in the broad and easy ways of the world. God’s Word sanctifies, revives and nourishes our souls. The indwelling Spirit of God will restore, equip and energize us to do good works while we are on earth. All our achievements, wealth and health on earth will pass away as we await the glory that is to be revealed. Let us keep on walking the straight and difficult way, glorifying God in all that we do and be like salt and light to all around us.
