Chinese Prophet Lao Tzu and Astronomers on Jesus Christ

(1) Lao Tzu’s (老子) prophecies about the ‘TAO’ (道) are recorded in the treasured ‘TAO TE CHING’ (道德经).

One example from the TAO TE CHING:
Chapter 25.2. “I do not know its name and I give it the designation of the Tao (the Way or Course). Making an effort (further) to give it a name I call it The Great.”

Compare with the Holy Bible:
“… He (God) reveals deep and hidden things; he knows what is in the darkness, and the light dwells with him” (Daniel 2:22).

(2) Chinese Astronomy Records

Ancient Chinese believed that the Creator God, Shang Di (上帝) communicated with humans through the stars. Chinese astronomy was already highly advanced in those ancient days. Teams appointed by the emperors continuously observed the sky year-round.

One example on the Sign about the birth of Jesus Christ (TAO):
Astronomy Records of the Book of the Han Dynasty dated 9 March 5 BC:- “In the second month of the second year (of Jian Ping), the comet was out of Altair for more than 70 days. It is said, ‘Comets appear to signify the old being replaced by the new.’ Altair, the sun, the moon and the five stars are in movement to signify the beginning of a new epoch; The beginning of a new year, a new month and a new day.”

Compare with the Holy Bible:
For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, who is Christ the Lord (TAO). (Luke 2:11)
