All who inherit this great salvation are also joint-heirs with Christ. God plans to save men and sanctify every believer. Search the Bible like the Jews of Berea. The Bible contains basic instructions for all Christ’s disciples to do His will while on earth (Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth). By looking the mirror of God’s Word, we can give up childish ways and grow up to maturity. While on earth, we may know in part; but when we see Him face to face, we will know Him fully, even as we are fully known by Him. So let us spend less time on the face book and more time face to face to Christ in faith as future co-heirs.
For all who are heirs of salvation, take heart and take heed. Take heart, God has commanded His angels to guard and protect you (Ps 34:7; 91:11). When your life is taken away, the angels will bear your soul to paradise (Luke 16:22). Take heed, do not neglect to study the BIBLE and neglect to nourish your faith with God’s Word. Do not neglect to meet together as is the habit of some (Heb 10:25).
Angels wonder why their Master, their Commander of the spiritual hosts of heaven would become a mere man to die on the cross for sinful men and women. Angels marvel at the changed lives of those who obey Jesus Christ. Angels observe men’s lives. They observe our struggles against sins. They watch the “good fight of faith.” So fight the good fight of faith against sin and gain the victory. Your spiritual weapons are the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God. Train to be skilful with the spiritual sword by constant study and practice. Pray at all times in the Spirit with all prayer and supplication for yourselves and the saints (Eph 6:18).
Angels are God’s servants to minister to heirs of salvation. Bear the cross of Christ. Confess your sins in your defeat, He will forgive. Deny sinful desires. Exercise your faith in Jesus by your obedience to His revealed Word. You will have the victory (1Jn 5:4-5). Fight the good flight of faith. Gaze only at Jesus and not at other things. Hope in the future glory after suffering for a little while on earth. Christ’s Imminent return for His Bride, the Church, is any moment. Be ready. Then the Day of the LORD will come. Christ both Judge and King. Inheritors of eternal salvation will reign with Jesus and judge angels (2 Tim 2:12; Rev 20:6; 1 Cor 6:3)
