Contradictions: Bearing Burdens and Loads

Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. (Galatians 6:2)

For each one will have to bear his own load. (Galatians 6:5)

On the face of it, these verses appear to say one thing and then say something entirely opposite: are burdens and loads to be borne collectively or individually?
