EPISTLE to the EPHESIANS

PREFACE

The Epistles to the Ephesians and Colossians, Philippians and Philemon were written around AD 60-62 by Paul in his first imprisonment by the Roman authorities (Acts 28).

WWBI has a Bible study course on Ephesians, based on Dr H.A. Ironside’s book on Ephesians. The student is strongly encouraged to request for a full copy of the WWBI Course Notes on Ephesians for a more detailed study.

This booklet is prepared based on the WWBI Course Notes for personal and small group Bible study.

Dr Ironside (1876-1951) was a renowned Bible teacher, preacher, theologian, pastor and author. He compared the Epistle of Ephesians with the Book of Joshua in the Old Testament. They both deal with a redeemed people entering their possession: for Israel the land of Canaan, for the Church their heavenly inheritance in Christ.
